VeriCore Technologies helped me connect information management to a business problem: organisations need reliable ways to verify identity while protecting personal information. In South Africa, that also means thinking seriously about POPIA compliance and responsible data handling.

The project made me see identity verification as more than a technical service. It is a trust layer. If a system handles biometric data, it must be secure, transparent, and useful enough for clients to believe in it.

This is one of the reasons I am interested in data science and coding. The best systems are not only clever. They solve real risks, explain their value clearly, and make people safer.
