This research helped me understand separation of powers as a living management system for democracy. It is not only a legal theory. It is a way of organising authority so that power is checked, reviewed, and accountable.
South Africa's constitutional structure depends on each branch respecting its role while still being able to challenge overreach. The executive leads, Parliament legislates and oversees, and courts protect constitutional limits.
For me, the information management connection is accountability. Good governance depends on clear records, transparent decisions, and systems that allow citizens and institutions to trace responsibility.
